These terms and conditions are made solely between the instructor and the pupil And that no contractual Relationship exists between True drive school of motoring and The pupil. Subsequently, the pupil acknowledges that the school has no liability to the pupil in respect of any loss, injury or damage arising from the use of the Tuition vehicle or from any acts or omissions of the instructor or any instructor.
All pupils must be in possession of a signed U.K Provisional Driving Licence for Group ‘B’ cars on Commencement of the training.
All pupils must be able to read an old style number plate at a distance of 20.5 meters, or a new-style Plate from 20 meters. If glasses are required these must be worn throughout the training
All fees including pupil cover whilst driving the school vehicle (provided the pupil is licensed to drive) and is Accompanied by, or under direction of a driving standards agency A.D.I / P.D.I (Car) or on a driving test with an approved DSA Examiner(s).
FEES
True drive school of motoring currently charge a standard fee of £36 for 1.5 hours which may be increased or decreased at the schools discretion and with one week notice
All hourly driving lessons are subject to a minimum 2 working days (48hrs) notice for cancellations, and for intensive courses 7 working days.
Prepaid lessons must be taken by you within Three months for 10hrs five months for 20hrs or ten months for 30hrs of the date of your original payment.
No refunds for Block booking
**Driving lessons are non tranferable**
**Please note there is a £25 admin fee for refunds issued**
True drive retains the right to charge a full tuition fee if any of the above notice is not given.
PAYMENTS
We accept payment by cash, cheque (supported by a valid cheque guarantee card) no cheques will be Accepted from persons under the age of 18 years.
APPOINTENTS:
whilst every care will be taken to ensure pupils receive training at the requested time, all bookings are made on the understanding that the school is not responsible for the postponement of training due to traffic conditions, adverse weather conditions, mechanical breakdown of equipment or any other cause outside of our control.
If in the view of the instructor, the pupil is unfit to carry out the lesson safely due to self-induced circumstances (e.g. Alcohol or Drugs) a cancellation fee will apply.
THE DRIVING TEST
The school reserves the right to withhold the training vehicle, if the instructor’s opinion; the pupil does Not reach the required standard. The school cannot be held responsible for the test appointment being postponed or Cancelled by the driving standards agency. Furthermore we are not responsible for any failure of bulbs/lights or any mechanical failure during the practical test. All bulbs/lights will be checked at the Test centre prior to the test.
